As Insight Housing celebrates our 55th year of building community through housing, your support continues to inspire our team to build a community that uplifts and empowers. I'm grateful to be on this journey with you, working hand-in-hand to ensure everyone can experience the security and hope that comes with a place to call home.
After a few months away with my family, newborn son, James, daughter, Eva (3) and husband, Matt, and of course, our dog, Murphy, I'm excited to be back with the Insight Housing team, advancing our critical work. There is nothing like a new baby to reaffirm our hope in humanity and the importance of a stable, welcoming home. Home is where families grow, individuals find belonging, and communities begin.

Volunteer Spotlight: Lata Vasudevan Feeds Her Neighbors
Food has the power to nourish not just our bodies but also our spirits. For Insight Housing volunteer Lata Vasudevan, preparing a meal is a way to express care for others. With a professional background in urban planning, Lata also values spaces that create community and connection. She dedicates her time twice a week in the kitchen at the Hope Center, where she packs lunches for the women’s shelter and serves food for the daily community meal.
